Just took the tracks off my 444 looks like I need some new belting would I be safe in using the measurement of the old tracks for cutting new bands ? With the track laid out nice and flat the measurement I have is 100 1/2" from one end of the belting to the other end not sure if this type of belting stretches much over the years or not ? Any Opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Bryan Power
Re: 444 track length
The cleats are 3.75" center to center with 27 cleats, making a total length of 101.25". Now you have to subtract the space required for the splices or "lacers". I can't remember how much needs to be allowed for the lacers, but i think you are pretty close with maybe a slight amount of shrinkage. I don't think that tracks stretch, but actually shrink with time.

I cut the rubber at 101" alowing 1/4" for the lacing.
