Val des Bois ride Feb 10,2012

All I can say is that the one Diablo rider who also had a camera was having much too much fun with the record button. Secondly, all those hoods were not open for repairs!!! and the tree at the bottom of the hill might regrow.

Just for the record, I was able to miss the tree but I cannot say the same for some others. Roy thanks again for a great outhing. Everything was a lot of fun and on top of that my 444 came out running better than going in. Can't wait to see those pictures and videos.

Thankyou all for coming out for the ride and for your help with everything. Best ride yet! I finally got to see all the pictures and videos last night. Some really good stuff for a souvenir DVD. Jeannot, you and Brian took a couple of nice videos on the lake. After the Constance Bay run on Sunday, I'll put a couple of DVDs together. Also , thanks to all the people in Chalk River for the run last weekend. That was awesome. Roy.

I have never seen a HUS-SKI climb a tree like Mike had his do. The scratch marks are about 1 foot above where the tracks are. It took three of us to heave it out of the snow and off the tree. Neither the machine nor Mike were injured in the encounter.

Here are a couple more pictures. In Mike's defense, it should be mentioned that Francois bent that tree over first so it would be easier to climb. Now that is on video. Roy.

It happened again! I was working on a DVD last night around 7pm and this loud prolonged rumbling started up. My wife yelled from the kitchen... What's that? Quake, I said. This morning a 3.2 tremor was reported 21k NE of Gatineau. That puts it very close to the hunt camp in Val Des Bois. Yikes! I'm starting to see a pattern here.Did we shake something loose again??? I'm going up Sun. morning to see if any pots fell off the stove. If anyone is up for a ride, give me a shout.
