Re: Yellow Gold
I have been in the "grill" discussion before and here is what I said:
"There is one thing for sure about HUS-SKI and that is that they are inconsistant in many details. I recently found a model 200-A all original with the serial number 40---. Of coarse this falls into no know pattern and must be the result of a worker putting the wrong decal on a 200-A rather than the 400 on the same production line. As far as grills go, I believe that all grills on the 444 should be black. The key word is "should" as I'm sure , as you have mentioned there are several examples of 444 with yellow grill in the hood scoop. The only machines that I regularly say have yellow grills are the SNOWTRAVELLER and the hood scoop on the 400. My reasoning behind this is that the first model was yellow and the HUS-SKI guys had not concidered using another color. While on the 400, the scoop was new and again they probably painted it yellow. The two 400's I have both have yellow grills. From a design sence, I like the black grill."

Re: Yellow Gold
I think painting the mesh black gives the machine more distinct character. Stands out more. Not like the Hus Ski models don't stand out as they are but a being a Hus Ski fanatic just makes me want to make them shine as much as possible. No matter what you do it will Rock! Great job!
Re: Yellow Gold
