Introduction time, I am a new Diablo Rouge owner in CT. It is a 1967 model 500 I believe. The seller had the "good side" facing out when I looked at it buried under a pile of snow behind his garage. The undercarriage looks great, no rust. Unfortunately, the drive cog in the front left side has no teeth.
Worse yet, the pull-behind sled frame has been severely modified. It has been cut off in the middle, with some additional tubes welded on to make a short frame!
This winter we had more snow here in CT than I have seen for many years......and of course it was the one winter I did NOT have a running sled. Arrgg. Anyway, if anyone has a sled frame (I have the skis) they would be willing to sell, I could use one. A sketch or drawing with some dimensions would help too, I could probably make one that would work.
It does start and run, and I definitely want it "good to go" for next winter, when we probably won't get much snow....
