Hi all,
We have been blessed with a very unique gift. Don S from Bloomington, Minnesota was a Hus Ski / Diablo dealer back in the day. Of the many things Don held on too from that time, one very rare collection was the 8mm Technicolor Hus Ski and Diablo Promotional Films.
The Hus Ski film is of the 444. This film has been shared by Ken M from Sheboygan, Wisconsin in the past. Ken has put this same video on a DVD and even narrated a commentary which is very cool.
The first Diablo film is of three prototype Model 500's gliding through the snow, jumping banks, pulling sleds and overall having a great time. The prototype are very interesting as all have the famous but never offered windshields, a more square hood and a larger crude hood scoop. About 4 minutes.
The second Diablo film is of a number of 502's again showing all the power to drive through snow, jump banks, pull skiers and being used for all sorts of winter fun. About 3 minutes.
Geez, you just gotta see these to believe em. They are incredible!
We will investigate what it will cost to put all these on a DVD to offer. However, I've been told there are other Hus Ski Films out there. Has anybody seen other films and if so, where? I also would like to know if anybody besides Don and I have ever seen the Diablo Films?
Bruce

Re: Hus Ski & Diablo Promotion Films
Just an update on the DVD. After checking with others, we have come to the conclusion that only one Hus Ski video is available. Therefore we are moving ahead with the three promotional videos we have. If the process goes as expected, we could have DVDs by Christmas.

YIKES!! I'm not sure if this is a "stop the presses" type of post but my HUS-SKI video shows the 200-A and 400 romping through the snow, no 444's in it at all.

The presses are still rolling. After further review before I sent off the videos, I show my Hus Ski ignorance when I looked at the video again and it is of the 200A and 400 of which you speak and not the 444. All those yellow sleds look the same to a Diablo guy.
