Barrie, yes you are. It is 8:26 here. What time is it by you? I see you saw the note for you in the General tab too.

To everyone: I also saw that Dave (Bottomsup) scheduled our first Diablo / Hus Ski get together. I know its late notice for everyone, but if we could get a half dozen of us there, that would be a success. Dave, when you get a chance, give us a little feedback about what kind of response you are getting from people.

How do I get back to the home page from the Board index? I wish you could see the "prototype"machine as it certainly does not appear to be put together by someone in their garage. There is an open chain case on it which appears to be build especially for this machine. The physical dimensions of the machine are smalller than the standard Diablo but in the same shape. It appears to be a "shrunken" machine , shrunken to about the size of a HUS-SKI !!!

One thing about this site (because its not part of the web site) is that I have not figured out a way to place a link back to the web site. You could always have two internet windows open and jump back and forth if that works for you. However, once you are here, your here.

Regarding the prototype, I did not know it was actually smaller than the original Diablo. That should be a sure sign that it is a factory built unit. I've gotten various opinions on it, but they are only opinions. Nothing definitive.

Is this a prototype that you have actually seen or just pictures of it?

Also, I've wondered what the 2777 of your user ID stands for. ?

I forgot to mention that it is mine acquired in a trade. Not sure back then what it was and still no confirmation of what it is. I believe that it is a fourth model which never made it to production. Ready to accept a HIRTH motor it would have been faster and more agile than the Diablos and may have been the best machine ever.

The 2777 is an old phone number when I was a lot younger. Only needed 4 number back then.

Details, Details, Details! Geez man. You have this prototype sitting around and I did not come close to realizing that. When you get a chance, give me a few more details (like basic dementions) and pictures. I can add more stuff to the prototype page that may stimulate some more details.

I've had some feedback from several people who also believe it was a fourth model. They were guessing, but were pretty confident based on the design.
