Restoration Just in Time for Antigo 2/10/10

Post by Go Go Diablo » Wed Feb 10, 2010 10:41 pm

Hi all,

FInished up my restoration this evening and took her out in the snow. A few bugs to work out, but it's ready for Antigo and just in time too. Ya Hoo - Antigo is going to be a great time. Hope to see many of you there.

On another topic, I'll be selling some Sprint parts. I put an Electric Starter Kit and NOS Drive Belt on eBay this evening.

Take care all,

Bruce

Hey Bruce, That looks super! Have fun showing it this weekend and looking forward to seeing pics of the show. Pretty soon you will be putting these machines together as fast as Bolens did but better!

Thanks Mike,

No one ever gets rich restoring and selling Diablos. I do enjoy it though.

It's Friday night and we are in Antigo. Spent the evening chatting with many Vintage Owners. We pulled out the Hus Ski / Diablo DVD and had a crowd around watching it. That was great fun.

Looking forward to getting our fresh restorations out on the snow tomorrow.

Bruce

Yeah, restoring Diablos and Hus-Skis is like making Maple syrup on a small scale! Its fun but you are not gonna get rich money wise but enjoyable and you get rich in other ways! Got my DVD in the mail today and we are going to watch it tonight - YAY! Loaded 2 Hus-Skis for the NH Snowmobile Museum Show tomorrow. I think there is some snow on the show field but the trails are not usable so no vintage ride. :(
