Hus-ski Finder

Hi all

While delivering my parcels today i met a guy whose knew somebody who has a Hus-ski behind his barn. It made my heart pump like crazy . So i called the guy and ask him about his Hus-ski . He told me that their's no motor and the Ski-seater is in rough shape . He also told me that he gave the Hus-ski to his little cousin so i ask him if it was for sale. He will let me know tomorrow if i can get it. His not sure the year or the model. Will put an up-date tomorrow. I also found a 1971 Alpine double track in really good shape. Everything has been re-done. It comes with a spear motor and a spare track . Would love to get that Alpine but there's one thing that i have to do is talk to my wife. I already know the answer for that question . She is fed up with the snowmachines . Like i told her many times OH Well my money . LOL

Hi all

Here is the up-date on the Hus-ski. The deal was way to good to refuse it. Not sure what model it is but by the pictures maybe Barrie can tell me . The snow flat on this Hus-ski is made with medal . It looks pretty original . Since i started to collect the Hus-ski's i've never seen one with a medal snow flat . Tracks are finish .

I'll say one thing for sure ...it needs some work. It is a 200-A with the rear metal flap. Does it have a hood latch? Is that a big pipe seater?...like the one for your model 600.

What can i say for $50.00 bucks . I guess i'll have spare parts for the other 200A . Yes it has the hood latch and yes it's the big pipe seater .

Here are more pictures of the Hus-ski. I have no motor but the secondary clutch is there. As you can see the clutch is on the left hand side . It should be on the right hand side. Somebody made a really big mess with this Hus-ski. As i've look for more info on what was original well i found another piece of medal under body. Is this original or it's another gadget that somebody but on.

That hood latch is not original but the stainless steel metal on the skids is original on 200's and early 200-A's.
