Re: OIL & GAS MIX
Here is my 2 cents.
I don't get fancy. I use regular unleaded gas. Our gas has 10% ethanol. Go to the local Fleet Farm and get a simple 2-cycle oil for air cooled engines. I mix it at 24:1.
With it, I've never had a problem.

Re: OIL & GAS MIX
I gotta side with Barrie , 32/ 1 mix ratio with high test gas , I burn the same fuel mix as in my race yamaha's And have NEVER lost a motor , 9.00 dollars a gallon for the gas and I use yamalube 2-R oil which is 7.00 dollars a pint . Back in the day they had Real Gas with lead in it and these motors where designed to run on that . There's so many great oils available now days but I'm a yamaha guy and go my own way with yamalube 2-R

Re: OIL & GAS MIX
I like to run 24-1 good 2cycle oil and a ethanol free premium works great also put a primer on both 502's, Two pumps on primer what ever temp starts on first pull, a real recoil saver.
