For guys like me who live in est not cst it might be an idea to post the cst time at the bottom of the page. It would make it easier for everyone to know when the chat will start relative to thier own time.

Hey Barrie, Bruce is open to any suggestions anyone has. I think that would be a help for people like yourself to know that we, here is Wisconsin are in cst. Hopefully Bruce can set the web page up to let people know exactly when chat time is.

Hey guys, not sure what you mean by posting the CST. I've got the board stating "8PM CST". Am I missing something here that may not be clear to people outside our time zone?

Hi Bruce. What I am getting at is a running clock which gives the current CST time. For example, if it is 8 o'clock here and 7 o'clock CST time I will know I have an hour to wait. Canada has seven time zones with snowmobile enthusiasts in all of them.

Now that is something that is way beyond me. I'll have to refer that question to the Web Master (my son Joey).

Joey - the time is posted on the main page upper left. Can we get that to note it is Central Standard Time?

If you go to User Control Panel > Board preferences, you can set your local timezone. Once you do that, all times displayed on the site will adjust accordingly.

Ok, I see that. That is interesting if someone wanted to do that.

But you mis-understood the request. What was asked is if CST could be added to the time currently displayed so people would know what time it is in CST, not your own time. I guess based on the function you suggested, that is not an option.

No worries, I think it is pretty clear. You bring up a good point though. With this forum format, users have the ability to change some of their settings and can use the User Control Panel for that. Thanks for looking at it.
