Engine drive belt - 444

I have searched the various boards without getting a whole lot of information.
I need a drive belt for my recently ressurected 444. The one that came on it is a Motomaster 26-1712 (Canadian Tire). It measures 36 1/2 " by ??? Probably about the same vintage as the machine. Not a lot of life left in it.
I went to a bearing and belt supply house, checked the books for a cross-reference. Got a Carlisle 1922V363. It measures 36 1/2 by 1 3/16. This appears to be too wide for the Salisbury 500A. I got it installed, but it is constantly engaged.
Does someone have the correct specs? The only info. that I was able to find was a reference to the Dayco 6013. What are the dimensions and where would you source one?

You actually should be looking for a gates 6013. The demensions to that are 29 32's" wide (23mm) and 36 3/4" long (933mm). The gates 6013 is still available from any gates distributor, and works great on all my 444's.

6013 is the correct GATES number and HP 2006 is the DAYCO number.

Thanks for the responses. I am sure that this will help others when they search the forum with the same question.
I'm headed up to Roy Teskes at Val Des Bois on Saturday. This will be my first excursion on this machine out of site of (or at least close enough to walk back) home.
Roy says it is all downhill on the way out for an easy tow!

I already called in stock at the Benson Auto Parts warehouse.If not in stock at the store it would be next day for any Benson store they had the Dayco HP 2006.

nappa has the same # or salsbury 702695

My local NAPA dealer could not find me two GATES 6013 anywhere. It would appear that there has been a big demand for them...HHMMMMMMMmmmmmm

My guys called Uni Select and they had six today minus one.That was the Gates Belt

I got the last 2 in Canada from my NAPA guy last Friday. At least that's what he said. Sorry about that but knowing you I am sure you'll find one.

NAPA does not deal with Uni Select in Montreal so try a Benson Auto Parts or other part store other then NAPA as they will have access to Uni Select.
