Hi all,
May is almost gone and June is right around the corner. Hope you all have a safe and fun Memorial Day Weekend.
Several years ago, Don Southerton from Minnesota contacted me. Don used to be a Bolens dealer back in the 60's though his truer passion later in life was the Minneapolis Molene Tractors. During those conversations, Don had mentioned he had an original 8mm film projector and 3 of the original endless loop films. Two of the films were of the Hus Skis and one of the Diablo prototype. The two Hus Ski films had been widely seen, but to my knowledge, the Diablo prototype film had been an unknown relic as I've never heard of anyone seeing such a film.
Well long story short, this was the beginning of the Hus Ski / Diablo DVD we offered that included these two Hus Ski videos and the rare Diablo video.
Sadly, Don and his wife passed away earlier this spring. Don's family contacted me about film and projector and I have purchased them both to keep as a rare piece of Hus Ski and Bolens history.
God's speed Don. May you and your wife rest in peace and your family cherish the memories they have.
If you have not seen the DVD, I have a few copies left. Send me an email if interested.

Truly sad to hear this sad news. Ironically, just last weekend I hauled that video out and watched it again. I hadn't watched it since I first got it from you. They are a real treasure for Hus ski and Diablo enthusiasts and such a neat piece of history on these machines. To have them on DVD is a great opportunity to be able to bring them out and watch them once in awhile.
Sincerely,
Peter
