Alliston, less than a week away

Hi all,

I'm sure some of you are as busy as I am getting ready for the Alliston show. Geez, I can't believe how much I have to do yet before I leave on Thursday. Anyway, hoping to see many of you there.

Spent the day at the shop today. Helped a local family with their 502 with good results. A little carb work and a fresh belt and a Diablo that had been idle for years was plowing through fresh snow around the shop today. That was cool.

Bottomsupduckclub stopped by today too and we spent and afternoon talking about everything from Diablos to the Super Bowl. A real friend there. Dave was asking about the possibility of having another Hus Ski/Diablo Workshop this summer. We will inquire later this spring to see if there is interest in doing that again. We had a great time last summer.

While all that is going on, I'm scrambling to finish a 503 restoration that I hope to have ready for Alliston. I'm not there yet, but getting close.

It was a good day,

Bruce

Hi Bruce, Yeah, a lot to do for sure! Just got done raking all the snow off the roofs as we have had so much snow, then rain yesterday to add to the weight. This week will be about getting the trailer and vehicle towing it ready. Weather forecast looks good so far for Friday and Saturday (in New England). Go Packers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I actually watched the whole game today just to see someone wearing one of those cheese hats. It was a good game by the Packers and a poor one by the Steelers. You just can't win when you give up the ball that many times.

The game was way too close for my liking, but in the end, it's an incredible win by a team decimated by injury all year. That the Packers were even in the playoffs was amazing.

See you all soon,

Bruce
