Hi all,
Wow is there lots of stuff going on. I'll say it again, the activity on the forum in increasing every day and that is great to see. The A1 Swap and Show is coming next week - Hus Skis and Diablos are some of the featured sleds. Barrie is organizing a spectacular even in the 50th anniversary. For me, it's about restorations and repairs.
Just spent all day at the shop assembling the 500. Tomorrow, I hope to get it running and complete. This is the Diablo 500 with the chassis reinforcement kit added. The extra supports and brackets make the hood mount and front bumper stable like the 502/3. I've also painted this motor the Hirth blue to simulate the early model 500's that came with this blue motor. All that's left is the carb, brake and a few odds and ends. Then it's time to let the smoke out of the motor!!!!!
I'm looking forward to a great winter!
PS, for anyone going to A1, if you are looking for a Diablo, I can bring one along for you. I also have a Hus Ski 444 looking for a new home.
Bruce
