Hi all,

It's the dog days of August and not much going on. Summer finally arrived here in Wisconsin and we have had a few days of "hot" weather for the first time all summer. Packer Football is in full swing and for us Packer Fans, watching Brett Favre in a purple jersey with horns on his helmet is a little like eating a lemon (a bit sour :( )

Hus Ski / Diablo news is a little slow this time of year. However, based on a number of inquiries in the last few weeks, a few of you are thinking about snow as you are getting your Hus Skis and Diablos out and getting them ready. Some are looking for machines and others are restoring theirs. For all you new members, thanks for joining the forum and jump right in any time you are ready. No one bites here.

Suggestions for the Get Together are minimal. So far, we have suggestions for Antigo in Wisconsin, Naubenway in Upper Michigan, Spencer in Wisconsin and of course we could always go back to Waconia in Minnesota. If you have other suggestions, please get them to me.

I'm working on a few restorations of my own. Trying to restore a 502 and 503 this year. Getting started has been slow, but ready to start on chassis, handle bars and hoods soon. After that, we start putting things back together.

Also, still waiting for those elusive heat pleated Diablo seat covers to arrive. If you are thinking of buying a seat cover this year, please wait until our covers arrive and consider buying one of them. The "Parts List" continues to grow, so thanks to everyone that contributes to that.

That's all for now. Take care all,

Bruce

:D I'll for sure be at the Waconia show, although I'm not sure the Diablo will make the trip this year, as I have many JD sleds that I should consider takeing. If anyone else is heading to Waconia, Renee & I would as always like to visit with you.
I'm of course looking forward to the "Gathering", hopefully we won't have any other plans for that weekend ;)

As always, BOTTOMS UP from Horicon, WI

That snow is on it's way Bruce. My wife and I and some friends were motorcycling through Yellowstone Park last week and we rode through snow. It wasn't collecting on the road but it sure stung. It was more like sleet, but hard and white no matter what. Only a matter of time.
