I went riding toady with a friend who had never driven a HUS-SKI before. We drove for two hours in about 24" of powder snow. What a day!!!!I have easy access to about six hundred acres of farmland. We didn't cross our trails once.

That looks like a great time to me. Hopefully we'll have some pictures like those from the Waconia show. I always enjoy seeing these old machines out n about. Later from Wisconsin,Dave

Hey Barrie - That looks like great fun. I'm impressed with the snow those Hus Skis go through. I doubt my Diablo could do that.
Here's a pic of the restoration. Just need an engine and some wiring and it will be ready for Waconia.
Take care all,
Bruce

The restoration looks great! A little yellow paint would do wonders.
I broke the trail with my 400 for the entire trip. The 200-A is a little underpowered to do it.

Hey Bruce, That is a mighty fine looking generator you have there! Just kidding, that thing is fantastic! Wouldnt it be cool, speaking of trailbreaking,to have a vintage "drag race" on deepish new snow and see all those Ski Doos gettig stuck while Hus-Skis and Diablos show them how its done in the real world!

It would be a good competition to have them stop in deep snow and then try to start.
