Hi all

No skidoo-ing this week-end. Hus-ski is at the repair shop for carb repair. Choke not working properly. Also when i press on the gas it won't take the gas it quite's on me. I tried to adjust the carb with no good result . With the 500 i had fix the gas tank 3 weeks ago and now it's leaking again and with carb problem too. So his going in the shop next week for the carb. It won't run by itself. As soon as i take my hand off the gas it stops. My brother tried to adjust the carb but still does the same thing. I think i need a good cleaning and a carb kit.

Ah the joys of owning old snowmobiles. Work on them all week just to get 15 minutes of riding them on the weekends.

In Wisconsin, the cold is about to break. After 48 hours below zero, it will warm up through the night with 4 or 5" of snow tomorrow. Ya hoo! For me, I have a full day planned working on the 502 restoration. 2 weeks until Waconia and I still have a sled in pieces. Tomorrow with any luck, I'll have the engine ready for some paint, more pieces installed on the chassis and maybe even get started on putting the 500 gearcase together and putting the bogies on the chassis.

With any luck, I might be in the shop on Sunday too.

Hey Bruce you should probably get out & enjoy some of that fresh white stuff Myself & Renee will be heading to Lancaster, WI tomorrow for a visit with relatives. We both got sick at christmas time & were unable to visit with my family We are both really looking forward to the Waconia show, for us it's going to be a 4 day weekend, leave friday & return monday
