My brother and his son were here for a few days so I pulled out a 444, my 400 and a 200-A to test the snow. We made tracks in the 20" of snow and had a great ride. Only one mechanical failure, one machine out of gas and a novice driver made contact with a 5 ft diameter hay bale. He said it jumped out in front of him but I'm not so sure about that claim. The 444 I'm driving is the one that had the carb problem. I bent the control arm towards the diaphram. This appears to have solved the problem. It needs a little more adjustment but I will drive it more to observe any changes in performance. The last adjustment may come from the idle setting or needle adjustment.
