Had a great day out on the hus-skis. Joan had her freshly restored 444 and I had the original unrestored 444 out to play. +8C , blue skies, no wind, perfect snow conditions, hus-skis running great. What more could you ask for! lol

Looks like great scenery as well you are lucky. We had a bunch of blowing snow. We need the snow, but not all blown in the wrong places. I am going to spend most of tomorrow blowing snow. Jim

Yesterday we got a break from the -0 F. temps and it got into the low 20's. A friend of mine and his son came over and we took three Hus-skis out riding.

Love the pictures. Snow conditions look just awesome. Your trails look like they are so much fun and reminds me of where I used to ride in the Laurentians. Wish I could be there riding with you guys!

Those are beutifull machines. My 600 is in rough shape. I hope to restore it some day to look as nice as they do.

Another fun day on the vintage snowmobiles. Joan and I took the diablo 502 out and her hus ski 200 A out. I had my original unrestored 502 and Joan was eager to try out her restored hus ski 200A. We were having a fun day until Joan's hus ski spark plug decided to stop working. So I said to Joan "no problem". Being the top notch mechanic that I am, I said I will jsut go back to the truck and get the new spark plug and wrenches and change it out right away. So off I went. Upon my return to Joan and her hus ski, (rope in hand) she said "that is not a spark plug". I told her that the spark plugs were safe and sound - back home in the shop. She then proceeded to call me an idiot . I responded with my second "no problem". "we can tow you out with my diablo". So Bruce, I guess the moral of the story is, never go hus ski riding without a diablo to tow you back out of the bush. LoL All in all, a fun day.
Peter (and Joan)
PS hope you all have a great time in Val des Bois!
