Both the Diablo and HUS-SKI use a ball joint to attach the ski seater to the tractor unit. I am sure this is from a late 50's automobile but I don't know which one. Does anyone have the answer?

Hi Barrie, This is Mike from NH. One of the sea of yellow but used a Diablo name because this was a mostly Diablo site originally. I dont know the answer but would be good to know as some of them get rusty from sitting. The one on the 444 I just picked up and tore down rusted right off the body and was stuck in seater part! Do you still need a 252 cam? I need to get a puller to get it off-dont know how soon you need it.

Hi Mike. Glad you could join but under the "red" flag...oh my! Yes, I still need the cam but no rush. Were you the seller on ebay?

Good Question Barrie. Hope someone has the answer.

I'm not sure what to say about that good natured kidding about the Red Sled. And then guys like Mike are Hus Ski guys but they fly under the radar with a Red sounding nickname. All in good fun

Just infiltrating the site. It is a silent assault. Did you see the photos I sent you Bruce?

I really like the manuverability and way better looks (maple, metal,no rubber or plastic to break down!) of my Hus-Skis but I have to admit I had a lot of fun on the Diablo last Winter. While we are on the topic of balls, has anyone ever put a 300 Hirth in a 200-A? I want to see about making one of those "power enhanced" 200-As. Or are they running the 252 JLO?

The power enhanced HUS-SKI has a 292 JLO but Larry is the expert on these machines.
