4/1/12 Sapping is done and spring is on the way

For sure, winter must be over. The maple trees (along with others) are budding and maple syrup season is over. We struggled to get sap this year, but had a good time in the process.

Here is a link to an article written about the Top of the Lake Snowmobile Event this past February where we held our Annual Hus Ski / Diablo Get Together. One typo to clarify is that it mentions I had 7 Diablos there but in fact, four of them were others. We had a good time and the trail ride was lots of fun too.

Winter has been over for snowmobiling here since Apr 2011. I didn't even register this year, Paid my club dues though. Not good with pics, but have the Diablo back together and just need a little more work to get it running. Good compression but no spark(40 years under apine tree probably did in the points) will have to get in there and check when I put on the new plug wire.

Maybe we can get some kind of East coast get together planned this year.

Sounds to me like an offer to host the 2013 Hus Ski / Diablo Get Together

We have had 5 events so far. Two in Wisconsin, one in Minnesota, one in Michigan and one in Ontario. Maybe this is the year we go East!
