2/12/12 Three Lakes Run Chat

Hi all,

For the first time this winter, we were able to get out and enjoy the snow. This past weekend we were up in Three Lakes, Wisconsin enjoying some fresh snow on some beautiful trails. Put on about 20 miles under fantastic sunny skies. Stopped for a few beverages along the way and needless to say, turned a few heads and struck up some fun conversation.

Here we are getting ready to roll. In the group is my buddy Tom driving his restored 503, Jeff B from Three Lakes driving his 502, my son Mike and buddy Cal driving two more 502's and me on my restored 503.

For the record, we did fire up the GPS and clocked top speed. Tom's 503 topped out at 30.1 MPH. We thought that was pretty good. On the way home, we thought we should get at least one group photo.
