Hus-ski name

I was just wondering where did the Hus-ski name came from?

Barrie has lot's of original papers so he may have a different reply. When I started in 1961 the machine had the name Hus-ski.
I was told that the machine was named after the husky dog. Husky dog goes on snow, Hus-ski Snow Traveller goes on snow.
