Hi all, I just had two 444's sandblasted and they came out looking great. My question is, do I have to D A everything or is there an easier way? All of the parts are paint free, are they ready for bondo and primer? Any info would be great, thanks!

What do you mean by "D A everything?"

Barrie,
I believe DA refers to a pneumatic orbital sander like a typical body man would use.

I always hand sand the metal after sandblasting because of the roughness left after sandblasting. As with any finish, the smoother the base, the smoother the finish. You cannot count on paint filling in the defects. Once I have it sanded, I then epoxy coat it., fill with body filler the areas which need filling then epoxy prime again over the filled areas. Sanding again when the epoxy is very hard being sure to feather the areas which were filled. Now it is ready for the top coat.
