Bolens Diablo Rouge and Hus Ski Discussion Forums

I am new member. My wife got a '65 hus ski from her dad, it runs great but can't get any voltage out of the engine. Does anyone have any ideas? I think the front headlight is out, is that light 6 or 12 volt? What is the gas mixture for this engine?

That will be a standard 12 volt bulb available at any auto parts supply. NAPA has them as tractor bulbs. Your gas can be mixed anywhere from 28:1 (what I use) to 48:1. The oils nowadays are much better than when the machine was made. Replace the bulb and ground it back to the engine. This should give you a beam.
