Can any one tell me if the hood latch on a 1965 444 is metal or rubber. Thanks

The hood latch is metal and is the same as used on FORD model T's. Hus-Ski never used a rubber latch on any model. The very early machines had the sand cast aluminum but stock was used up and not replaced thus the use of the other style latch. The part I need for my 252 is the cam which slides on the crank and determines which way the motor rotates when it fires.
