I was going for a ride on Sunday, the trail had just been groomed only got a 1/4 mile from home when I lost a wooden cleat on my track. This never happened to me before was wondering how common this problem is. Last time I rode it at the gettogether at Spencer we had very little snow and a plowed field could of this been the cause ?

The whole cleat cannot just fall off. It must have developed a crack through the rivets. I have had whole cleats come off but just after the bolts holding the ice cleat had let go or a crack split the cleat through the rivets.
