444 Wiring?

Post by Trailrider » Wed Jan 18, 2012 7:39 am

Would anyone happen to have, or could point me to a post, that has a wiring schematic for a 444. I have one that has had a bunch of spices and is missing wires and would like to put it back to original.

Thanks Neil

for anyone else wondering the same thing.

Join onto the black wire from the engine casing anotheer black wire
and connect it to the switch (mag) then go from grd to a bolt on the
flywheel cover. Check this for continuity when the switch is in "off"
position. Join another black wire from the same cover bolt and
connect it to one pole on the headlight. Connect a length of yellow
wire on the yellow wire coming out of the casing to the light switch.
From the other pole of the light switch run to the headlight. Also at
the switch, on the same pole as the headlight wire create a lead wire
with a female spade connector of about 12" long. The wire coming from
the seater taillight which comes out of the end of the seater pole,
should have a corresponding male spade connector .
