fuel mix sticker location

A place to ask all your questions about Hus Skis or just a great place to spread a little of that Yellow Pride.

fuel mix sticker location

Post by Cory Moffat » Thu Oct 18, 2012 8:07 pm

I have been reading the forums and have learned on a 444 the fuel mix sticker is located on the fire wall. When I sandblasted the fire wall section I looked for traces of the old sticker location but found nothing. Could some one tell me the proper location for it. Maybe even post me a picture of it.

Thanks in advance!

I've never seen a fuel mix sticker on a 444. Not even the remains of one. Has anybody else seen one?

If that was a Diablo question, I could answer. We will have to rely on the better knowledge of the Hus Skis gods.

Just easing through the pain of a hockey injury of last night. I can type but little else.

I have seen the gas mix decal on a 444 stuck to the top of the gas tank and on the firwall as well as not being anywhere. Stuck to the top of the gas tank is not a very readable spot unless you take out the tank. Since the 444 was designed from parts from the ill though out 600, and the gas mix for a 600 is on the tank, well perhaps the tank I saw on a 444 was one of the early left over tanks from the 600 production.

Thanks for the reply Barrie. Sorry to hear you are injured. I guess Hus-ski gods are not imortal.

I HAVE A 444 THAT HAS NEVER BEEN PAINTED AND IT HAS NO SIGHNS OF A DECAL AND A FRIEND OF MINE HAS A 444 THAT HAS HARDLY BEEN USED AT ALL AND HAS NO DECAL. MAYBE AS BARRIE SAID THEY WERE LEFT OVER TANKS AND DECALS ONCE THEY RAN OUT OF DECALS YOU HAD TO REFER TO THE MANUELS. AS THESE ARE BOTH LATER MODLES OF THE 652 SERIAL NUMBER.

I just pulled apart a hus-ski I picked up affixed atop the tank on white sticker paper with red lettering was a fuel ratio decal. If I can find where I put it I'll See if I can figure out how to post a pic.
