Just got my 444 done, well still have to install the light. Thanks for the information, and inspriration.

This method of supporting was spawned by the muffler support on the 200-A. You will need to find a pair of stand-off bolts to secure onto the head bolts and two more 3/4" long bolts to secure the muffler. In the photo you can see a nut used as a spacer . This was because the stand-off bolts were not long enough. They should come above the head of the cylinder. I used to have broken mufflers on my 400 until I used this system about 8 years ago. I have not repaired a muffler since then. This system is also on my 444 for 3 years and a 1000 kms.
