I noticed a pool of oil under my 503 in the garage and found the plastic chaincase plug was missing. I haven't found the plug on the floor yet but I trust it let loose after I parked it due to the volume of the oil on the floor. I'm glad I lost the plug close to home.
Is there an alternative to the plastic plug?

Re: Chaincase plug
Hi Terry,
I was hoping someone would respond with a good answer. I've tried to find an exact replacement without luck. I've found a plug, but it is not the soft plastic that the originals were made of and it just does not seal as good.
Anybody find an original style plug somewhere?
Bruce
