Hi All,
Finally ready to paint my 68 500, was just inquiring if anybody would have the paint codes for the red and orange,
if anybody would have them I would appreciate it, or has anyone scanned the red from the decals and painted their
sleds like that?
Thanks,
Jeff

Re: Diablo Color Codes
Jeff,
In my experience, the color on the decals is too orange and if you paint the machine that color, you won't like it. I've also tried special mixing Centari paint with luck, but it was really expensive. Then when I shared that paint code with someone, the color did not reproduce well.
I now use a Dupont Nason product (see below). It's a standard factory red that matches great. You should be able to get it at a local paint store.
