I am in process of re-installing the headlights in the plastic nosecone on the 503. I should have taken some pictures last spring when I took it apart. My questions concens this. Does the "fixture" slide in from the front of the nose cone followed by the rubber gasket and glass lense or does the "fixture" come in from behind the hood, then the nose cone, rubber gasket and glass lense on the outside or front of the nose cone? My first inclination is that everything comes in from the front through the nose cone and then the fixture rests agains the cutout in the hood. I hope this isn't too confusing. Please help.

Re: 503 Headlight installation
I hope this helps Terry.
I snaps some picture of 503 headlights. It looks like the lamp bucket is installed against the hood bracket. Then there is the rubber gasket which is between the bucket and the plastic nose cone. Then the lens sandwitches the nose cone and rubber gasket down to the hood bracket.
If I need to pull one apart to get a better picture, let me know.
