Gas tank

I have old gas in the tank. It's about 18 months old. What would be the best way to clean the tank?

Hi Rock,

Got the pictures of your newly obtained Diablo. That is really something. I'll try and get some of those pictures on the web site tonight. You got what looks like a 500 there.

Regarding the tank, go to the fuel system page of the web site and there are a couple of suggestions to clean or restore the tank. At a minimum, drain it out and put new gas in if you plan to run it. Original specs say 25:1 but several have mentioned that with today's better oils, no problems going 28:1, 30:1 or even higher.

Does anybody else have some good suggestions??????????????

Hi Bruce

By the owners manuel I have a 502 & 503. In the owners manual they say that the 503 comes with the electric starter. So I beleive that I have a 502 since I don't have an Electic starter. I might wrong too.
