No spark yet on the red devil

Ok I'm posting this for my brother , Bruce has already helped me get his hub off the flywheel Of the hirth and he took and filed his points and put it back together and still no spark . That darn red devil anyway I told my brother I would send out the question of what's wrong now ? For the experts to respond , and he wanted me to also ask if the key is a natural open or closed circuit ? Apparently he lost the key and put in some other key switch . Hey Bruce we need Red Devil smileys that aren't so cute to choose from ! At least there's a huge smiley for us Hus-Ski owners !!

How can we ever hope for success for your red brother when he has a yellow brother sabotaging his sled?

To take the key switch out of the scenario, just remove the black wire from the back and leave it un-connected. The key switch needed is one that has continuity across the terminals when the switch is off and open between the terminals when the switch is on.

In regards to smiley face changes, we need a web host who is much smarter than I. I'd think a guy that can figure out how to put Bart Simpson on his Diablo and use it for an avatar would be able to figure that out. Hmmmm.... Do we know anybody like that?

My brother does have a birthday coming up , I could maybe just get him that thick piece of angle metal that I believe bolens designed for the diablo to hook up the tow rope too
