Diablo Serial numbers

For sure, it is a 1968. The 584th produced and Bolens made thousands of 503's during the 68' and 69' production year, so I'm very confident it was made for 1968.

Mine is 503 Ser# 30221. I bought it as a 69 model year, probably produced in 68.

I check on my 502 and I was surprised that nothing is written on the serial place ??

It's more likely that your actual serial number wore off. The "502" is part of the actual decal, but the serial number would have been a paint or ink number put in the serial number box. If the unit was washed with a cleaner like paint thinner or something similar, it is probable that the number was washed away.

Unfortunately, the serial numbers are not stamped on the frame anywhere. The serial number will be a five digit all numbers serial number starting with the number 2. If you look closer at it, you may be able to see the number very faintly. If you can see some but not all, let me know what you see and we might be able to figure it out.

Hi all. I just picked up 1 of the 2 Diablo's I bought. It is a 502, serial # 21383.
