Hi all

ANother cold day in Kap. -36 today. Yesterday it was even worst -40 . Today put some of my oldies in the storage garage . The 600 didn't want to start. Mayby it's frozen and then the 200a had like 6 broken Cleats .
Before going to Alliston i have to change those cleats and try to start the 600. The machines were outside for a week . Will have to put them in a heated garage to work on them. There's no way that i'm going to change them outside when it's -36 LOL

Take care

Hey Rock, Well, It can only get better, Right? WTF! I hope I never feel what -40 F feels like! I think I know why some of you guys want to run a leaner 2-stroke mix. When mine doesn't want to fire, a shot of Gumout down the throat of the Tillotson usually does the trick. (Thanks Bruce for sharing that trick) We have gotten more than 30" of fresh powder this month after a DRY December. Will be seeing -0 to -teens the next few nights here. Keep smiling man! :)

WD-40 will also work, its the propane propellant that gives you the burst for a start. WD-40 also gives you a very small amount of lubrication. Do not use either in a two stroke because it will dry out the cylinders.

I tried to take the belt out to change some Cleats but with no success . Still way to cold to work outside. Today we were at -38 . Tomorrow it suppose to be -12 so i hope that i can do some work on the 200a before i go to my real work.

Hi all

At 7:30 AM i was able to start the 600 . It took me about 10 minutes to get it running. I guess it was way to cold for it on the week-end. I need to adjust the throddle cable and then i should be OK
