It might be just me, but the 600's don't seem to have the same "appeal" as others. I just missed out on a Hus-ski on Friday, don't know what model. It was posted in a local "on-line" classified site Friday morning as a "1961 Hus-Kie - one of the first snowmobiles made". I tried calling 3 times from work all day, could not get through. When I got home at 5:30 I called and an "Older" fellow answered the phone, very hard of hearing, said he had just sold it  . It had recently been rebuilt (motor)and was in working condition. Didn't want to know, but I had to ask what he sold it for........$500.....Canadian!!.

Part of the problem of discovering a HUS-SKI on a classified ad site is that the seller usually uses the wrong spelling HUSKY , HUSKI,HUSKEE etc. I could never find the ones which were in kijiji and ended up not getting them because someone else agreed to pay more than the asking price. The seller had agreed to sell them to me. If someone finds another machine it would help a lot if a direct link was given.

Barrie

Is bottomsupduckclub correct with the price on this sled being too high?

I agree that that price is too high. I am just guessing, but I think it is a single track. That might bring a higher price but if it is complete and engine isn't seized, then $750- $1000 would be plenty. It really depends on how badly the buyer wants a model 600. The single track, model 600 is positively one of the worst driving snowmobiles ever made. You might want it just for the experience.
