This primary clutch does not look like any 600 I have seen.
Hus-ski 600
Re: Hus-ski 600
That clutch looks like the ones used on the 200 and early 200A. The crankshaft taper is much bigger on the L252 engine versus the L152 engine used in the 200 and 200A. My guess is that the outer sheave and cover came off of a 200 with the inner sheave being the original for the 600. In the pictures you have posted on page 1, the muffler is off of a 200 or 200A also.

I went to look at another 600 today. Was past on to the son of an original owner. Always stored inside but definately used and not babied. Looks to be mostly all there and was last driven into the shed we pulled it out of today. It has the double track conversion and a 292/295/297 recoil assembly on it. Oh yea....I brought it home.
I have to look into these pre-1970 Ontario plates. This one has a 1964 plate on it. I was told Ontario did not have sled specific plates until 1970.
...Mark.
As I found it....

Re: Hus-ski 600
I believe that clutch to be original. I think HUS-SKI had a large version for the 400 and a smaller version for the 200-A which were offered in the same year. I also have an engine with that clutch and I'm sure it came out of a 400. The aluminum bell housing model was also offered in two sizes...one for the 148 the other for the 252.
