So far today!Will start the seater tonight as well.

Well got at the seater tonight,reinstalled the metal clips under the foam and the original cover.Re stapled and repainted the black plywood but kept the material tag intact,new stainless screws.The tail light is an original just sanded applied a coat of clear to put a shine on it.Will use a set of skies not original but close and will make a set when spring comes around.

I am just amazed at the progress taking place on this 444. The hours of work it takes to post pictures of such progress is admirable. Looking forward to seeing the machine in Alliston.

Well its photo documentation of a projects from Frank, Barrie and yourself that helped me on my endeavorer.I was able to see just what i was in for before starting and used MANY times for reference, and these photos just may help the next enthusiast.All and all not so scary just time lots of time and help from what I now call friends from this site.

Well it had to be done,last night we Andre Patenaude (Best friend) and myself tore down the engine and clutches,and to our surprise NO surprise.Everything came apart with ease??????? So we cleaned inspected then cleaned again.Today I will try to locate a gasket and seal kit for the JLO L252R i already found the bearings.Then Friday bead blast all parts and paint.One neat thing to mention is the crank had a date stamped on it 9/64 wow how cool is that!The engine itself appears to never been open and was in great shape crosshatch still on the cylinder walls.Piston not one mark on it and rings the same.
