Re: Not getting gas to carb on 444
I try to shut the fuel tank valve off after each ride and that helps prevent air lock in line too. Just gotta remember to open it each time though. LOL. I have forgot to do that before !

Re: Not getting gas to carb on 444
The initial adjustments are: first close both idle and high speed screws gently. do not force into seats. open high speed screw 1 1/4 turns. open idle screw 3/4 turn. back off throttle screw until it is just contacting lever, then turn in 2 full turns to open throttle shutter slightly.

Re: Not getting gas to carb on 444
Hey, Nice job on the carb cover! I own and ride both Hus-Skis and Diablos and have gone through several succesful carb rebuilds. When starting with a fresh, dry carb, I pull the fuel line off the carb and get all the air out of line by lowering it below tank level into a small container to catch fuel...

You are going to need one of the motor mount pans like Bruce has the pattern for.( on another topic on this forum) I am considering havi...

Re: Hus Ski Mutt/rat rod Restoration
True, then you have the brake style decision. And clutches. The 444 is better in both those. More so the clutches. It is def faster to grab the brake handle on the 444 than the 200/400.

Re: Hus Ski Mutt/rat rod Restoration
Hi Bill, You cant go wrong by putting the right jackshaft mount and housing in. Since the tracks and under part are all done nice, I would either put it back to a 200-A, but then you would have to have the smaller motor; or you could change the motor mount rails to a 400/444 type and put the 252 in ...

Re: Husski sports club
I am not sure, but it sounds like you automatically became a member when you purchased a new Hus-Ski. I wonder if you got one of those patches from the dealer? Most of all the early ads for Hus-Ski were more focused on it being more for hunting, fishing, trapping, checking remote areas. I guess that...
