Thanks Barrie for posting picture of muffler bracing. You were right I braced mine off of motor mount bolt which is seperate from motor and probably caused it to break. Considering my JLO idles as smooth as the paint shaker at the Sherwin Williams Store it was doomed for failure

I bought John Deere agriculteral yellow from the John deere dealer for $60 bucks a gallon and John Deere primer for $35 bucks a gallon. The paint covered nice with a HVLP sprayer bought from Harbor Freight for $14. I used a half a gallon of paint to paint my 400.

Hey Bruce, I was fortunate to have enough snow in my woods to ride. I got more miles on this year than last year. The Durasurf you put on my skis are holding up great. I don,t feel so bad crossing the gravel road or my driveway knowing my wood skis wont wear out. Pray for snow, see you in Spencer
