We will be attending Gorham on the 8th and heading to The New Hampshire Snowmobile Museum on the 9th.
This years featured snowmobile is any Twin Track machine.
Try to include this event into your trip.

I have tested the water a little on the mufflers. The original mufflers work well but I have found by using the same muffler design, that one baffle with larger holes in it and instead of a cap on the end installing a larger diameter 2 inch long tube inside the muffler gives you a little more kick. ...

You are right about the heat warping it
I cheat at this so don't tell anyone
I fit my fender, then glue it in place with two part auto body adhesive from any auto body supplier.
Then tack weld the inside edges only.
The same with the supports.
This keeps the heat to a minimum.

The seals are not the same.
If you have a problem getting them let me know. It takes me two days from NAPA and I have a few of each on hand.
We have ordered pistons, rings and gaskets from Greece. There service is great, delivery is about one week
