Snowtraveller rebuild

Post by Barrie2777 » Sat Aug 29, 2020 7:02 pm

The first production machine was the SnowTraveller with a West Bend powerbee engine. Due to poor performance the west bend engine was recalled and replaced with a 148 jlo. The clutches were also changed at this time to the Morse Chain Powerflo Transmission.

The following postings will be of my rebuild of this upgraded model.

This base and all the other parts was aquired in a trade. Although a rebuild has been started it is all wrong so i must cut and rebuild from square one.

A few missing parts. Track support rails and a dash with serial number 1123.

The Snowtraveller dash was the only one that had a rope guide tube.

The rear fender support on the SnowTraveller bends down to the center of the cogs. This is much lower than any other model. The front fender support remain tge same for all models
