Snow in Val Des Bois

Post by Roy Teske » Sun Nov 17, 2013 1:46 pm

We got a couple inches of snow last Sunday and it's still there on these mountain tops. No luck hunting this year, but I got some priceless pictures and video. Not enough snow yet to bog down diablos, but enough for a diablo to skid out a hus-ski. This big bear doesn't seem to be interested in hibernating. He may be waiting for one last feast on some stranded hus-ski rider.

I took a run to Africa Lake in October. The beaver dam went out on this lake , like many others this spring. No problem crossing it this year. If anyone is interested in another run this year, let me know.

Roy,
Always interested, let me know. I am looking at an overnight 18-19 January. Should have a lot of snow by then. The Hus-ski started on the first pull last weekend after being parked for 9 months. A little cleaner down the carb does wonders. Took it for a short spin and was running great. Not bad hey. The red devil should be ready this weekend or soon thereafter.
