Hi all
With Barry's great help I now have pictures of the Diablo and Husski motors. The Husski is a 400 chassis with mostly 444 engine, etc, for all that want to know.
I was not able to get all the right pieces before I rebuilt it from the Sponge Bob racer that it was. I bought it as a 444 and found out after completing much of the work, that it was a 400 chassis. Therefore, it is what it is. Still a Husski, at least.
For background, when I got it, it had a Hirth 300 mounted straight up through a home made hood that extended all the way to the front of the chassis. The hood was a box style and was held down with sheet metal screws. It had a Boa Ski secondary and the muffler was mounted on the right side fender. The Sleigh was also home made and weighed about double the stock one I have now.
I did a lot of work on the chassis pan, as it was all cut and welded to fit the Hirth motor.
Bill

Looking to sell these. Make me a reasonable offer. I have a spare parts motor for the Diablo, and an extra Hirth 300, that would fit a 500 or 502 Diablo. Niether machine has good skis. The Diablo is complete and I have ridden it, but it does not want to start now, although it will occasionally. The Hus ski is an almost finished restoration. I did not realize that I had a 400 chassis and restored it as a 444. So it is a 400 below the pan and 444 above. I also have a spare dash panel for the Hus Ski.
