Primary clutch bearing

Post by devil dog » Sat Jan 15, 2011 5:23 pm

I was noticing the bronze bearing on the old steel type primary clutch on my 200-A is quite worn. I was thinking about replacing it with a sealed ball bearing, but I can't find one that would fit. Has anyone done this? The bearing bore would be 1.250" and the ID of the moving shieve is 2.172". All the bearings I can find with that bore have an OD that is too big for the moving shieve to clear.Width could be up to .750".
