444 hard to start

i tryed it agine with the belt off ran the heck out of it at high speed and ajusted the ideal it seams to runing ok now not blowing gas out the muffler ideals ok runs good on fast speeds plug is a nice brown shade one of the problems was one of my plugs i was useing wasent sparking all the time i also had to put new paws in the recoil also i blew into the line was hard at first then whent what is your starting procedure for your hus skis do you ever prime them or just use the choke thanks for the help norm

Glad to hear it is running well again. I am still wondering how you had so much gas in the cylinder.
In normal weather I just crank and usually within three pulls the engine has started. In severely cold weather and the bad habits of a JLO recoil, I will squirt some gas down the carb for a fast start.
