choke

Does anybody have a diagram on how the original choke cable was run for the 444?

Also does anybody have a chole cable with the black plastic knob available either for purchase or other means.

Thanks,

John

Choke cables can be bought as a generic item at snowmobile or ATV supply shops. They usually have a picture of a choke butterfly on them. If anyone has a source for a cable with a plain black knob, I would like to hear of it.

My 400 came with the choke arranged as indicated in the attached photo. It seems to be a logical support of the cable and makes use of the threaded bolt hole at that end of the engine. The photo also shows the loop in the carb linkage.

I think I have a few new choke cables that are very close to the originals with just plain black knobs. I can check when I get back home next week.

Remind me if I forget.
