ICE CLEATS ON A 444

I WAS CURIOUS WHAT THE ICE CLEATS LOOK LIKE COMPARED TO THE FOLDED TYPE CLEATS.THANKS

Not quite sure how to answer but I know others can elaborate on this.

All Hus Skis have wooden cleats. Over those wooden cleats are metal cleats. Some metal cleats are a "U" shaped and some are the "Folded Over" style of cleat. Whether U shaped or Folded Over, I refer to all the metal parts of the cleats as Ice Cleats.

Above are an original folded over cleat made of steel and a reproduced folded over cleat made of stainless steel.

The "u" shaped ice cleats are about 3/8" high in the center and taper to 1/4" at their ends.
